The post-independence era was marked by an urge for introducing social service for students, both as a measure of educational reform and as a means to improve the quality of educated manpower. For such aims, beside 120 hour of voluntary contribution of labour, various educational programs are organized. Two Units of N.S.S. are active in the College who actively participate in the following activities:
1. Nutrition and Social Upliftment
2. Blood Donation
3. Plantation Drives
4. First Aids Trainings
5. Labour Contribution
6. Employment Programs
7. AIDS Awareness Campaigns.
8. Cleanliness in Slums.
9.Environment Awareness.
