Dr. Shakila Bano

Dr. Shakila Bano has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urdu at B.J.S. Rampuria Jain College, Bikaner since 2012. She holds a Ph.D. in Urdu, an LL.B., and a Master’s degree in English, reflecting her strong multidisciplinary academic foundation. An accomplished scholar, Dr. Bano has authored two books in Urdu and has published numerous articles in reputed magazines and newspapers. She actively contributes to academic development as a Member of the Board of Studies (BOS) at Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. Dedicated to promoting Urdu language and literature, she combines her expertise with innovative teaching methods to inspire students and foster a deeper understanding of literature, culture, and critical thinking.
